Fast Proof Press specialise in high-quality, bespoke printing projects designed to push the boundaries of print and drive the industry forward. FPP boasts the largest offset printer in Queensland housed alongside our other state of the art printing presses – digital and web – in our purpose built 1200 square-metre Gold Coast facility. Our carefully selected binding, cutting and folding machines are complimented by a highly skilled team offering over 100 years of combined experience in the industry.

Fast Proof Press is a family business founded in 1979 by the late Bob Whitton. Bob’s legacy continues today under the stewardship of two of his sons, Matthew and Daniel as they lead FPP into its 41st year of operation.

Alongside Matthew and Daniel, our leadership team bring passion and experience to their roles within the business, inspiring the rest of the organisation to continue exceeding client expectations, producing the finest printed materials available in Australia.

MATTHEW WHITTON

Managing Director

Experienced Managing Director with a proven history of working in the printing industry. Skilled in Pre-press, Business Development, Digital Printing, Offset Printing, and Variable Data Printing. Strong entrepreneurship relaxed professional with current responsibilities including increasing management’s effectiveness by coaching, communicating values and strategies.

DANIEL WHITTON

Director of Sales

Daniel started with Fast Proof Press when he returned from his international travels at the age of 26. Trade-qualified, Daniel, now aged 42, manages a sales team of six personnel. Dan is a father of three young children, and a true driving force in the direction of the business. Daniel manages external research and coordinates all the internal sources of information to retain the organisations’ best customers and to attract new clients. His passion for the print medium is eveident from the moment you speak to him.

Dianne Makhlouf

Account Manager / Sales Executive

Dianne is a well-driven individual who has proven experience in developing new business and building professional relationships while nurturing new and existing client accounts in her portfolio. She has worked in the printing industry for over 18 years spanning all areas of the trade including; offset printing, digital, packaging, mailing and distribution, wide format / POS. During this time Dianne has built strong relationships with print partners and suppliers lasting many years.

Paul Willmer

Account Manager / Sales Executive

Paul has spent 27 years in the printing industry 9 of those have been at Fast proof press, Originally working in the Graphic design/reproduction sector then moving to Prepress Management, Customer Service and then sales/account management. He has a close working relationship with many marketing managers several of these have been in excess of 10 years, these range Builders, developers, auction facilities through to advertising agencies and graphic designers.

Stephen Finlay

Account Manager / Sales Executive

Stephen started in the printing industry in 1971 as an Apprentice Film combiner and plate maker at John Sands, one of Australia’s largest printing Companies. At 21 he was promoted to Forman of the afternoon shift in charge of 15 Pre-Press staff, the youngest person to hold that position. Stephen has been with Fast Proof for over 20 years and has brought his vast printing and sale knowledge to help build Fast Proof Press to the major printing force it is today
